Thanks for checking out Songs for Mammals! It really means a lot to me to have such wonderful friends who support my music, so
thank you so much!

I released this album's predecessor, "crappy songs for crappy people", almost two years ago under the name "gnyldnE". At the time, I thought gnyldnE was going to be a one time thing; it was just a little side project I did to blow off some steam. I never anticipated it would be more than half-assed nonsense. Eventually, though, gnyldnE grew and developed into something new. He was no longer just an extension of Endlyng, but a fully-formed personality: Prince Ricochet.

"Songs for Mammals" represents growth, both as an artist and as a person. I've learned a lot about production since 2014, so hopefully that shows. But also, when I look at the person I was back then, I realize I've come a long way. Who was that person? I hardly know anymore. I'm optimistic that the future will be as big an adventure as the last two years were, for you as well as me. Nobody knows what the future's gonna be like, but until we get there, I hope you enjoy my silly tunes.
